Students in CVTC’s Liberal Arts program may need to take the Tailwinds Math Placement  Exam. Talk to your advisor to determine if this exam is required for you. If so, you can  prepare using the resources below.

Non-CVTC students who need to take the Tailwinds Math Placement Exam can also use the resources below to prepare to take the Tailwinds Exam. 

Self-paced Tailwinds Exam Prep in Canvas

CVTC and non-CVTC students can enroll in this free non-credit, non-graded Canvas course. The course provides videos, handout, and practice problems related to the three areas tested on this exam: Math Fundamentals, Algebra, and Trigonometry. You work through this course at your own pace.

One-on-one Exam Prep with Academic Support
