Teams Calls - Turn Off Notifications

Overview

When a call is coming into Teams, there will be a call notification, which will show up as a pop-up window on your screen and a notification sound. There may be times when you do not want to be disturbed by Teams call notifications, like when giving a presentation or teaching a class. In these situations, you can use the "Do not disturb" feature in Teams to turn off call notifications.

You are also able to forward Teams calls to voicemail in situations where you do not want Teams notifications to interrupt your work.

Audience

Anyone using Microsoft Teams can place calls to others within CVTC using Chat. Employees with a phone number can also place external calls.
