Troubleshoot Sound on Teaching Station

No Sound

  1. Is the volume on the PC muted?
    • If there is an X by the Volume icon, double click the icon and then click the sound icon to unmute.
      unmute

  2. Is the volume on the wall-plate (or touch-pad) turned up?

Sound coming out of the PC and not the room speakers

  1. Right click the Volume icon, in the lower right hand corner of the taskbar.
    Click Sounds.
    Right click volume

  2. Click Playback.
    Click playback

  3. Right click Extron HDMI*.
    Click Set as Default Device (or Enable).

    • *Please note: Verbiage may differ from station to station but it should NOT be set on Speakers/Headphones. Please see examples below.
