Microsoft Authenticator - Sign-in Methods

Change Default sign-in method:
- Log into My Account Portal.
- Click Update Info, under Security info.
- Click Change, next to Default sign-in method:
- Choose the new authentication method.
- Click Confirm.
Add/Delete sign-in methods:
- Click + Add sign-in method.
- Click Choose a Method.
- Choices are Authenticator app, Alternate phone, Office Phone (if you don't already have one added).
- We currently do not offer Security key.
- Click Add.
- Verify your identity, to save changes (text or phone call).
Click Next. - Click Done.
- Click Change.
- Update authentication method for that number.
- Edit preference for that method (i.e. Receive a code or Call me).
Click Next. - Verify your identity.
Click Next. - Click Done.
- Click Delete, to delete any old phone numbers, smart devices, or email addresses.
- Click OK.
- Click Sign out everywhere, if you have a lost or stolen device. This will sign you out of all Microsoft apps related to CVTC.
- Click OK.
