Student iPad Management Change From Self Service to AppleID

Student iPads

To improve the student experience and reduce technical issues CVTC will no longer be managing the configuration on student iPads. The most significant change is that every student will need to create an AppleID and download all software through the Apple App Store

Previously, student managed iPads were able to download apps by using the Self Service portal shown below.

Going forward, students will need to use their own Apple ID to download, install, and manage apps on iPads.

If students do not already have an Apple ID, they can create one at Create Your Apple Account

It is recommended to use a personal email address, not your CVTC email address to create the account. You will lose access to your CVTC email one year after graduation, and you may want to continue using your iPad.
