Please note System Requirements for AutoCad 2019
- Windows® 8 or newer (64-bit)
- 3+ GHz processor
- 16GB Memory
- 6GB free disk space
- 8GB or more GPU RAM
- Optional: 1920 x 1080 or greater True Color video display adapter; 128 MB VRAM or greater; Pixel Shader 3.0 or greater; Direct3D®-capable workstation class graphics card.
Install
- Navigate to AutoDesk Education.
- Click on the software you wish to download.
- Click CREATE ACCOUNT. Or if you already have an account, click SIGN IN.
- Enter Country of educational instutution, Eduational role, and Date of Birth.
Click NEXT.
- Enter your First name, Last name, Email, Confirm email, Password.
Make sure I agree to the A360 Terms of Service is checked.
Click CREATE ACCOUNT.
- Verification required.
- Navigate to your student email and find the verify account email, click VERIFY EMAIL.
- Once account is verified, click Done.
- Choose Chippewa Valley Technical College as Name of educational institution.
Choose Area of study.
Enter date for Enrolled from and Graduate in.
Click NEXT.
- Click CONTINUE.
- Click DOWNLOAD NOW.
- Choose Version.
- You may want to check with your instructor as to what version you are using in class.
- Choose Operating system.
- Have a Mac? Check out AutoCad for Mac.
- Choose Language.
- Click INSTALL NOW.
- Click I Accept.
Click Install.
- Your file is downloading.
- If using IE or Microsoft Edge, click Run the file when prompted.
If using Chrome or Firefox, go to downloads and run the file from there.
- If using IE or Microsoft Edge, click Run the file when prompted.
- Click Install.
- Choose the components you would like to install.
Click Install.
- When install is finished, program(s) will appear in your Start Menu.
**Please note that screen shots may differ from install to install. These screen shots were taken on Windows 10 using Google Chrome while installing AutoCad 2018.
