Unsupported Mobile Devices
Protecting personal and college data is a top priority for us, and one of the most effective methods for ensuring a device's security is staying on top of available software updates.
When a device's operating system falls outside our criteria for being supported, we may deploy a configuration that limits its functionality. In most instances, we will attempt to contact the affected user prior to deploying restrictions to the impacted device, but there may be scenarios where advance notice is not feasible.
- The following are examples of when a device may fall outside the criteria for supported devices:
- A device is compatible with current available updates but does not have the latest supported update installed.
- A device is no longer able to be updated to the latest available updates.
