Canvas - Course Missing From Canvas Student App
Note: Your course may not be available on Canvas until the its scheduled start date/time. You will not be able to access the course until your instructor has opened the class.
If a course is not showing up on your Canvas Student app dashboard, try the following:
- From the Canvas Student app dashboard, click "All Courses" in the top right corner.
- To customize your Canvas dashboard, tap the star icon next to a course to mark it as a favorite. If any courses are marked as a favorite, only those courses will appear on the dashboard. Deselecting favorites will return the dashboard to default visibility.
- Return to and refresh the dashboard.
If a course is not visible anywhere on the Canvas Student app, try clearing the cache for the Canvas Student app.
- Close the Canvas Student app.
- Open the Settings on your mobile device.
- Navigate to the app section and select the Canvas Student app.
- Depending on your device type, you may have different options to clear the cache for the Canvas Student app. For example, iPad users will see this option at the bottom of this menu.
- Reopen the Canvas Student app. You may have to sign in again.
