Start a Chat in the Desktop App

1. In Microsoft Teams click the Chat (1) icon. Click the New Chat (2) button. Type the name of the person you will call and pick their name from the list (3). More than one person can be added to the Chat. Click once in the Type a new message (4) box in order to show the calling buttons.
   

Place a Call

1. Click the Video call (1) or the Audio call (2) button to start the call.
   
   
   
2. A new window will open for the duration of the call. Your camera can be turned on or off (1) and your microphone muted or unmuted (2) during the call. Click the Leave (3) button to end the call.
