Microsoft Authenticator - Alternate Method: Phone

1. Click I want to set up a different method, when prompted.
2. Choose Phone.
3. Click Confirm.
4. Enter your phone number and choose how you would like to authenticate (Receive a code or Call me).
   Click Next.
5. Enter your Code, if you chose text.
   • If you chose Call me, answer the call and follow the prompts of the call.
   Click Next.
6. Click Next.
7. Click Done.
8. Go back to Commons, if not automatically taken back there.
9. Choose Authentication Method.
10. Enter your Code, if you chose text.
    • If you chose Call me, answer the call and follow the prompts of the call.
    Click Verify.
11. Choose No or YES.
    • If you are using a shared device or a public device it is recommended to choose No.
