Microsoft Authenticator - Authentication Method: App

If you do not have a phone number or email on file with us, please follow the steps below.

When using this method, please make sure you have your phone or tablet available to approve the request.

  1. When prompted, check Don't ask again for 30 days.


  2. Grab your device and hold/swipe the notification and tap Approve.
    • If you do not get the notification, then manually open the app.
    • Click here to make sure notifications are turned on.


  3. On your Phone, enter the number that appears on your PC, tap Yes.


  4. Stay signed in? If you are using a personal computer and not a shared computer you can check Don't show this again and then click Yes. If you are using a shared or public computer choose No.
