Canvas - What-If Scenarios for Grades

You can explore how particular score grades on assignments or exams in Canvas will affect your final grade.

The What-If feature can be helpful in planning or predicting your performance for that class. You should also note that the course grading policy is ultimately decided by your instructor, so any questions or concerns regarding your grade should be discussed directly with them.

  1. In your Canvas course, click the Grades link.
  2. To test a sample score, click directly on the score area for an assignment. This will open a text box where you can enter your sample score. Press enter to save your sample score. Your total score will adjust immediately. You can additional sample scores, and even adjust scores that have already been posted.
