Add Class for Zoom to Canvas

Add Class for Zoom to navigation menu in Canvas.

Class for Zoom can be integrated into a Canvas course so the software is accessible from a link in the Course navigation menu. The link must be enabled in each course.

Add Class for Zoom link

Course Settings

  1. Open a Canvas course.

  2. Click the Settings link from the Course navigation.


  3. Click the Navigation tab.


  4. Scroll to the bottom. Click the three-dot kebab menu next to Class for Zoom (1). Click the Enable button (2).
    This will add the link to the bottom of the course navigation menu.


  5. To move the link to a different position either click and drag the box or click the three-dot kebab menu (1) and select Move (2).


  6. Use the Move Navigation Item panel to select where to place the link (3) and click the Move button (4).



  7. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save button.

    The Class for Zoom link will be added to the course navigation menu.

  8. Repeat this process for other courses.
