Adding Common Grading Scale into Canvas
CVTC has a standard grading scale that is used college-wide for consistent grading standards. A grading scale must be selected for each Canvas course in order to ensure accurate grades are calculated.
Adding a Grading Scale to Canvas Courses
1. In Course Navigation, click the Settings link.
2. Click the Course Details Tab
3. Click the Enable course grading scheme checkbox.
4. From the menu that appears, click the Grading Scheme drop-down and select either the Common Grading Scale (with rounding) or Common Grading Scale (without rounding).
5. Click the Update Course Details button.
