Use these directions to submit an assignment to the Canvas Student app from the Microsoft OneDrive app on an iPad or iPhone. You will need to know the name of your Canvas course and the name of the assignment in order to complete these directions. You also need the Canvas Student app and the OneDrive app installed on your iPad.

1. To begin, open the OneDrive app from your iPad and locate the file.
2. To submit the file directly from the OneDrive app, tap the three-dot meatball menu corresponding to the file being submitted. Each file will have its own menu, so be sure to select the correct one.
   
   
    
3. Select the "Open in Another App" option.
   
    
   
   
4. Alterntively, you can also submit the file after opening in OneDrive. Click to open the Share menu in the upper right corner of the opened file, then use the Send a copy option. This menu will operate the same as the Open in Another App option.
   
   
   
   
5. Select the Canvas Student app from this menu.
   
   
   
   
6. Select the Course, then select the assignment being submitted.
   
   
    
7. Tap Submit to complete the process. You'll receive confirmation that the file has been submitted.
   
    
    
8. The assignment will be submitted to Canvas. You can verify the assignment was turned into Canvas.
