Microsoft Authenticator - Add Authenticator App - Sign in

  1. Download and install Microsoft Authenticator app from App Store or Google Play.


  2. Tap Add account (or the + in the upper right hand corner if you already have an existing account(s)).


  3. Tap Work or school account.


  4. Tap Sign in.


  5. Enter your CVTC email address.
    • Employee: username@cvtc.edu
    • Student: username@student.cvtc.edu
    Tap Next.


  6. Enter your CVTC password.
    Tap Sign in.


  7. To enable Sign-in with your phone, tap Continue*.
    • *This is recommended for all students and employees.


  8. Tap Register.


  9. Tap Finish, when account is successfully added.


  10. At the bottom you will find:
    • Authenticator:
    • Passwords:
    • Addresses
    • Verified IDs


  11. Tap your CVTC account for more options.


  12. Account Info includes:
    • Notifications/Passwordless sign-in enabled
    • One-Time password code
    • Enable/Diable phone sign-in
    • Change password
    • Update security info
    • Review recent activity


  13. Click HERE to add, remove, or edit your sign-in method(s).
