Microsoft Authenticator - Add Authenticator App - QR Code

  1. On your PC, log into My Account Portal.
  2. Click Update Info, under Security info.


  3. Click + Add sign-in method.


  4. Choose Authenticator App.


  5. Click Add.


  6. Click Next.


  7. Click Next.


  8. On your Phone or tablet, open the Authenticator App.
  9. Tap Add Account.
    • If you do not see Add Account tap the +, in the upper right hand corner.


  10. Tap Work or school account.


  11. Tap Scan QR code.


  12. Go back to your PC.
  13. Scan the QR code, with your phone.



  14. Click Next.


  15. When prompted on your phone enter the number displayed on your PC.
    Tap Yes.




  16. Click Next.


  17. Click HERE to add, remove, or edit your sign-in method(s).
