Third-Party Cookie Settings for Chrome Web Browser (PC/Mac/Chromebook)

If content is not loading in your Chrome web browser, enabling third-party cookies may resolve the issue.

Learning materials posted to Canvas are sometimes hosted on third-party websites, including content such as eBooks & related activities, MyOpenMath, H5P, and other similar items. When third-party cookies are blocked by your web browser, these materials may fail to load.

If you are unable to view these materials, you may need to adjust your third-party cookie settings.

  • Open your Google Chrome settings by clicking the kebab (vertical three dots) menu in the upper right corner, then selecting Settings.

  • On the left navigation menu of your Chrome settings, select Privacy and security settings, then click Third-party cookies.

  • Click the selection to Allow third-party cookies

  • When finished, reload the page to verify that the content has loaded.
