Tax Information

1. What is a 1098T form?

A 1098T form is a tax form available for students to use for tax filing purposes. CVTC provides 1098Ts to students based on their account charges. If a charge is added to a student’s account prior to January 1st of the following year, it will be reflected in the year it was added. For example, if a student is registered for spring 2018 classes but registered for them in December of 2017, the 1098-T for 2017 will show the classes. For more information on 1098 T forms visit Commons > Pay for College > 1098-T Tax Information.
