Google - How to Submit a Google Doc to a Canvas Assignment on My Computer

Depending on the settings your instructor has enabled for your assignment submissions, you may or may not see the option explained below. Your instructor will decide which methods you are able to submit assignments.

1. The first way to submit your Google file through Canvas is to convert your Google file to a Microsoft file. Click here for directions to convert your Google file to a Microsoft file. Once that is complete and your Microsoft file is saved to your computer, use the 'Choose File' button to select your file and click 'Submit Assignment'.
