Student Email - FAQ's
Q.) What is my student email address?
A.) Your student email address is: firstname.lastname@example.org
Q.) What is my student email password?
A.) Your student email password is your CVTC password.
Q.) I can't log into Commons, can I still access my student email?
A.) No, you need to be able to access Commons in order to log into your student email.
Q.) How long is my student email active?
A.) Your student email will expire 365 days after the last day of your last class you took at CVTC.
Q.) Can I set up my student email on a smart device?
A.) Yes, please see KB articles: Email - Add Account iPhone/iPad, Email - Add Account Android, or Email - Add Account Outlook App.
Q.) Can I get access to my email after I graduate?
A.) Yes. Your student email will be active for 1 year after the last day of the last class taken at CVTC. If you would like to continue to have an email through CVTC then when your year is up you can request an alumni account by contacting the IT Service Desk.
Q.) Can I get access to OneDrive after graduation?
A.) Yes, but you will lose access to your OneDrive 365 days after the last day of your last class you took at CVTC. Please make sure to transfer any files that you may want to keep to a personal drive or flash drive.
