Google - Launching Your CVTC Google Account
Follow the directions below to launch your free CVTC Google account.

- Open your web browser.
- Google's web browser, Chrome, can be downloaded here.
- Navigate to Google and click the blue sign-in button in the upper right corner.
- Enter your CVTC email address (username@student.cvtc.edu), then click Next.
- You'll be taken to the CVTC sign-in page. Enter your CVTC email address and password, then authenticate your sign-in with your mobile device.
- Note: If Google doesn't accept your Commons password, make sure you are typing it correctly. If needed, reset your Commons password.
- Google may ask for verification. Enter the phone number that you want to receive the text message, then click Next.
- Enter the 6-digit code and click Next.
- If you want to add a recovery phone number or email click UPDATE; however, this step is NOT required. Click CONFIRM to continue.
- You can verify your sign-in by clicking your profile icon in the upper right hand corner.
- Clicking the waffle menu icon (located directly to the left of your profile icon) will allow you to see Google Apps like Drive, Docs, and Sheets.
- Open your web browser.
You have access to your CVTC Google account for 12 months after your last day of class at CVTC. Please make sure that you transfer any documents that you may need to a personal account or download them to a personal device.
