Outlook - Delete Saved E-mail Addresses

Clear a single cached item

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Click New Email.
  3. Start typing email address.
    Click the X next to the address to delete it.

  5. Click the To... button.

  7. Find the name in the address book and double click it.
    Click OK.  This will give you a new cached name.

To delete ALL cached items

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Click File.
  3. DeleteCache01.png

  4. Click Options.
  5. DeleteCache02.png

  6. Click Mail.
    Scroll down until you see the section, Send messages.
    Click Empty Auto-Complete List.

  8. Click Yes.

  10. Click OK.
